Tornem al XC

Encara que sigui per un dia, un s'ha animat a sortir en la primera prova del Open btt BMW Gran Premi Bikeinn a Quart, Girona. Després de quasi 4 anys sense muntar un dorsal per una proba de BTT XC avui he aprofitat l'ocasió per batejar la Orbea Alma que he adquirit. Amb l'excusa que un bon amic volia fer el pas al 29' vaig aprofitar per renovar la mítica GT Zaskar. El canvi ha estat per a  millor tot i que la Alma encara s'ha d'anar pulint. Referent a la cursa estic prou satisfet un s'ha trobat còmode tot i sortir molt retrassat i patint més d'una retenció en trams de máxima pendent. La matinal de Diumenge ha acabat amb 1h50' per fer 30km de btt amb 980m de desnivell.

Today I have ridden in a xc race, the first race of the Open BTT BMW GranPremi Bikeinn in Quart, Girona. After being almost 4 years witout racing in mtb xc today I raced with my new mtb aquisition, an Orbea Alma 26' . I acquired this bike from a friend who has moved to 29'. I feel more confortable with the Alma than with my "old-school" GT Zaskar. However, I still need to work on the Orbea Alma. Regarding the race, I felt confortable even suffer some cycling jams in the technical or steep segments of the parcours. I finished the Sunday race with 1h50' for 30km and 980m ascend
